The main constituents of Super Duplex Steel Threaded Flanges are roughly 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3-4% molybdenum, with additional nitrogen and manganese to provide a balanced duplex microstructure (ferrite and austenite). Excellent corrosion resistance is offered by this composition, particularly against stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride. These flanges have a mechanical tensile strength of about 750 MPa, a yield strength of 550 MPa, and a 25% elongation.
