Stainless Steel 309H Flanges consist mainly of iron, with 22–24% chromium, 14–22% nickel, and 0.04–0.10% carbon as important alloying constituents. The composition improves high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. The mechanical properties are improved tensile strength of around 620 MPa, yield strength of around 310 MPa, and durability of 40% elongation, offering strength along with ductility appropriate for industrial uses. The properties promote durability under stress and resistance to deformation.
