304L Stainless Steel Flanges consist mainly of iron along with 18–20% chromium, 8–13% nickel, and a maximum carbon level of 0.035%. The low carbon percentage improves weldability along with minimizing carbide precipitation in welding. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of about 485 MPa, yield strength of about 170 MPa, along with an elongation of 40%, which provides a balance of strength along with ductility for different industrial uses.
