The Monel 400 slip-on flanges consist mostly of copper (28–34%) and nickel (63–70%), in addition to traces of iron (≤2.5%), manganese (≤2%), silicon (≤0.5%), carbon (≤0.3%), and sulfur (≤0.024%).
